Storage requirements and precautions for refractory bricks
Refractory bricks as an important refractory material, due to the composition of the refractory material, refractory bricks need to pay attention to some matters when stored, the following will introduce the storage requirements and precautions for refractory bricks.
1, storage environment
Refractory bricks should be stored in a dry, ventilated, moisture-proof indoor environment, avoiding exposure to sunlight and rain. Recommended reading: shelf life of refractory bricks
2、Stacking method
Refractory bricks should be stacked on a flat surface to prevent the bricks from being extruded and deformed or damaged by bumping.
3, stacking height
Refractory brick stacking height should not exceed 1.5 meters, so as not to crush the lower brick body. The width of the passage between the brick stacks is not less than 600mm for sidewalks, 2000~3000mm for transportation paths, and 3000~4000mm for the passage between the boxes when the boxes are loaded and unloaded by forklift trucks, and the distance between the brick stacks or boxes and the wall is not less than 500mm.
4、Avoid moisture
Refractory bricks are easy to absorb moisture, so in the storage process need to avoid moisture, you can use plastic film and other materials to cover.
5, brick number classification
Refractory bricks should be classified according to its product number, specifications, materials and other parameters for storage, easy to use when the selection.
6、Packaging protection
Refractory bricks should be transported and stored in the process of strengthening the protection of packaging, to avoid the surface of the brick body is scratched and worn.
