Production process of refractory materials
According to the different degree of denseness and shape of the products, there are sintering method, fusion casting method and melt blowing method. Sintering method is part of the raw material pre-sintered mature material, crushing and sieving, and then mixed with raw materials according to a certain ratio, after molding, drying and sintering. The purpose of raw material pre-sintering is to burn off the moisture, organic impurities, sulfates decomposition of the gas, in order to reduce the sintering shrinkage of the products, to ensure the accuracy of the product dimensions. Raw materials in the crushing and grinding also need to be screened, because the billet by the different particle size of the powder for grading, can ensure the most tightly stacked and obtain a dense billet.
In order to homogenize the composition and particles of the various raw and clinker materials, blending is carried out and binding agents are added to enhance the billet binding strength. Such as aluminum silicate billet to join the combination of clay, magnesium billet to join the sulfite pulp waste, silicon billet to join the milk of lime and so on. According to the amount of water content of the blank, can be used semi-dry molding (about 5% moisture), plastic molding (about 15% moisture) and slurry molding (about 40% moisture). Drying and firing are then carried out. Fusion casting method is the raw materials after batching and mixing and fine grinding and other processes, melting at high temperatures, direct casting, cooling crystallization, annealing to become products. Such as fused cast mullite bricks, corundum bricks and magnesium bricks. Their dense body, high mechanical strength, high-temperature structural strength, good resistance to slag, the scope of use is constantly expanding. Melt blowing method is to melt the ingredients and then blow them with high pressure air or superheated steam to disperse them into fibers or hollow balls. The products are mainly used as lightweight refractory and heat-insulating materials. In addition, can also be made into powder or granular shaped refractory materials, when used to tar, asphalt, cement, phosphate, sulfate or chloride salts and other binding agent cementation, without molding and sintering and direct use.
